Information design is an absolute favorite of mine. I originally pursued classes that would lead me to becoming a high school calculus teacher, but was eventually hooked on design once I dabbled in the courses in the UW VCD program. Creatively visualizing charts, graphs, statistics, diagrams, and dimensional spaces? Yes. Right up my alley.
This project was a student project for a green energy magazine. I dove into how wind turbines are engineered, how they create and transfer energy, and how wind energy is being capitalized on (and where it isn't) throughout the world. What an intriguing study!
